Public Records Requests

Washington's Public Disclosure Act (RCW 42.17) requires each local agency to make available to the public its methods for obtaining public records. In compliance with that Act, the LOTT Alliance adopted a Public Disclosure Policy and appointed a Public Records Officer to process requests.

How to Make a Request

If you wish to make a formal request for LOTT public records, please complete the Request for Public Records form. On the form, you may choose to receive document copies at a nominal fee, or request to view the documents at the LOTT Administrative Office free of charge. Your request will be processed within five business days unless otherwise notified.

You can deliver the request form to the LOTT Alliance by:

  • Faxing the form to (360) 586-0969;
  • Sending a scanned image by email to Natalie Windle, LOTT's Public Records Officer;
  • Mailing the form to the LOTT Alliance at 500 Adams Street NE, Olympia, Washington 98501; or
  • Deliver the form in person to LOTT's Administrative Office. (For directions, click here.)

Exemption and Prohibition Statutes

Purpose: To comply with the Public Records' Act requirement that public agencies list laws that may provide an exemption to disclosure other than mentioned in the Public Records' Act. [RCW 42.56.070(2)]. Click on the thumbnail image to view LOTT's Exemption and Prohibition Statutes.
