Class A+ Reclaimed Water Demonstration Project
LOTT is excited to be exploring the creation of a Class A+ reclaimed water demonstration project. With strong support from municipal, state, tribal and community partners, demonstrating how to safely clean and recycle used water to drinking water quality is a critical step in unlocking the possibility of future potable reuse projects in Washington. This pivotal project has the potential to greatly expand our state’s options for improving water resource and climate resiliency.

Letter of Determination and SEPA Checklist
The SEPA comment period for the Class A+ Demonstration project is open October 5 through October 19, 2026. As the lead agency for the project, LOTT Clean Water Alliance concluded that the project will not have a significant environmental impact.
You can read the SEPA Letter of Determination and the SEPA Checklist to learn more about the project and how to submit comments. Comments must be received by October 19, 2026, and appeals must be received by October 26, 2026.
